The All India Arya Vysya Industrialists Forum (AIAVIF) was established in 1999 with a visionary mission to unite Arya Vysya industrialists, foster business growth, and inspire the young generation of entrepreneurs. The concept was conceived by Sri Golla Vasudeva Rao and gained momentum through discussions held in January 1999 with the AVOPA Bankmen Chapter, led by Sri R. T. Kantha Rao (Vice President), Sri M. V. Ramana Rao (President), and Sri J. Shankara Rao (Convenor).
The Forum formally took shape on May 1, 1999, during an Industrialists’ Meet organized at the FAPCCI premises, with valuable support and data provided by the AVOPA Office. The event was graced by eminent leaders such as Sri K. C. K. Arya Gupta and Sri Sanyasi Rao, then President of the Arya Vysya Mahasabha. Following extensive deliberations, the founding leadership of the Forum was finalized as follows:
Founder President: Sri K. C. K. Arya Gupta
Founder Secretary: Sri Golla Vasudeva Rao
Founder Treasurer: Sri G. Somasekhar Rao
The association was named the Arya Vysya Industrialists Forum (AVIF), with a unique emphasis on individual membership rather than business-based enrolment. Operations initially commenced from the office of Sri K. C. K. Arya Gupta at Himayatnagar, where the Forum’s objectives were drafted and circulated among members. Early activities were primarily focused on the Twin Cities, with a clear vision to expand across Andhra Pradesh in the future.
In mid-1999, AVIF was formally inaugurated at Vysya Hostel, Kachiguda, with Sri T. G. Venkatesh of Tungabhadra Industries presiding over the ceremony. The event was further honored by the presence of five ruling Arya Vysya MLAs, along with the blessings of Sri Konjeti Rosaiah and Sri G. Narayana Rao, lending great significance to the occasion.
Although the Forum’s beginnings were modest, AVIF steadily grew by organizing regular meetings, family get-togethers, and memorable pilgrimages to Puttaparthi and Bhadrachalam, with strong support from Vice Presidents Sri B. V. Ashwini Subba Rao and Sri Meda Narasimhulu.
Leadership later transitioned to Sri Lakshmaiah Shetty, followed by Sri Vijaya Kumar Gupta Kopuri. Under the dynamic leadership of Sri Vijaya Kumar Gupta, AVIF achieved a major milestone by organizing a Grand Convention in 2010, honouring seven elected Vysya M.L.A.s at the FAPCCI Auditorium and releasing its first-ever Industrialists’ Directory & Handbook.
The Forum continued its progressive journey under successive Presidents including Sri Gopala Bhupal, Sri Vellore Suresh, Sri L. Vijay Kumar Shetty, and Sri G. Nagendra.
During the tenure of Sri Gopala Bhupal, the Forum was significantly strengthened in technical aspects. Under the leadership of Sri L. Vijay Kumar Shetty, the innovative concept of Patron and Chief Patron memberships was introduced, providing a strong financial foundation for the Forum. Subsequently, during the term of Sri G. Nagendra, extensive data on prospective members was collected, and a focused membership drive was initiated, leading to steady organizational growth.
During the tenure of Sri Guntha Srinivasulu, AVIF crossed the 250-member milestone, a growth of 100% and successfully organized a Mega Convention in 2019, featuring:
- An Expo with 50 stalls showcasing AVIF member enterprises
- Release of a Souvenir-cum-Membership Directory
- Felicitation of distinguished members with the prestigious “Doyens of Vysya Industry Awards”
During the tenure of Sri Tallada Venkanna, the Arya Vysya Industrialists Forum (AVIF) was restructured as the Telangana Arya Vysya Industrialists Forum (TAVIF) to ensure a more focused and region-specific approach. His presidency also marked the introduction of a new and progressive dimension to the Forum by bringing Women Entrepreneurs to the forefront. The enrolment of Women Entrepreneur Memberships during his period significantly enhanced the Forum’s inclusivity, representation, and outreach
In 2022, with a clear vision to expand its footprint across the nation, AVIF was rechristened as the All India Arya Vysya Industrialists Forum (AIAVIF) under the presidentship of Sri Rachuri Srinivasa Rao. True to this renewed vision, the Forum witnessed significant growth, with more than 40 new members from Andhra Pradesh joining AIAVIF.
Today, AIAVIF continues to empower its members through industrial visits, expert speaker sessions, networking events, and family-oriented programs such as Karthika Vanabhojanaalu and family tours. The Forum remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering collaboration, growth, and excellence within the Arya Vysya industrial community.
AIAVIF warmly invites all Arya Vysya industrialists to join hands in contributing to the collective advancement of the community and strengthening its presence in the industrial sector across India.
